Rain or high winds are not only bad for your event, they can also jeopardise the safety of the bouncy castles. In case of bad weather you are able to cancel the hire up to two hours prior to the hire time. If you don’t cancel the hire we will deliver the item/s and you will liable for the hire cost. (If the weather is bad and we haven’t heard from you, we will generally give you a call to confirm the hire is still going ahead)
Cosmic Castles’ inflatables are all tough enough to handle a bit of rain, so if you do get some rain during your event don’t panic! The PVC fabric does however get very slippery when wet, so we do suggest you get the kids off (they will probably think it’s great fun!) to make sure they don’t get hurt. The blowers are covered to protect them from the rain and all power leads are residual current protected. When the weather gets better, simply towel off the water to dry the bouncing area and begin using it again. Many of our inflatables come with the option of a free sun/shower cover that will help keep the kids cool or dry depending on the weather.
